Inspiration? 

The inspiration for this blog was really so that I could convey what was in my heart and mind to the world. I know I can’t be the only person on earth with something to say, especially the only believer with something to say. 

A lot of us are out here in this world, hiding, afraid to speak out on things from a heavenly perspective; afraid to call things as they are, afraid that we will be silenced, canceled, called out because we think differently. 

You see, you can’t be a Christian, a follower of Jesus and hide. If Jesus said xyz and the world says zyx, we have to go off what Jesus said. 

There is no MIDDLE GROUND, no neutrality. 

We are in this world but we are not of it (1 John 2:15, John 15:19, 17:14, 2 Corinthians 10:3, James 4:4, Ephesians 1:4, Matthew 5:14). 

Ever since we got saved, we adopted a new thought pattern and were given a new nature, a new mind. That mind must be renewed everyday by the Word of God.  

Romans 12:2 NIV

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

That being said‭‭, all of the things we believe in will seem extreme, radical foolishness to the non believing world , starting with the fact that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”

In this world we will have trouble and persecution, however we are here as pillars, as light (Matthew 5:14).
